Time for holidays GRAMMAR Il past simple dei verbi irregolari (1) In inglese i verbi irregolari al past simple non prendono la desinenza -ed ma hanno una forma unica per tutte le persone. Ogni verbo irregolare è riportato sul dizionario con tre voci che corrispondono rispettivamente all infinito, al past simple e al participio passato. Il past simple corrisponde alla seconda voce, come puoi vedere nella tabella. Went e ate sono dunque le forme del past simple dei verbi (to) go e (to) eat. infinito (to) go (to) eat past simple went ate participio passato gone eaten 12 Evidenzia i verbi al past simple, come nell esempio: I write you came he is running we did you wear she met I went you spent he is waiting we made I try I watched she gets up 13 Abbina con una freccia l infinito al corrispondente past simple, poi trascrivi il past simple nella colonna adatta, come nell esempio: 11.
