He goes to school, he studies, he meets his friends and enjoys doing sport. But this year he is doing something different. He loves cooking and he is really good in the kitchen. So he usually cooks dinner for all his family: his mother, his father and his brother Samuel. He reads new recipes in cookery books and follows his mother s advice: first begin with easy dishes like pizza, eggs, chips and hamburgers, then try to make other dishes. On special occasions Ryan loves preparing his speciality, strawberry cake, and today is a special day: it s Samuel s birthday. He is sure that his brother loves his cakes, he usually has two or three portions. But today something is going wrong in the kitchen and Ryan can t understand why. Samuel says that the strawberries are delicious, but the cake tastes really bad. Only Duke likes it, but you know that dogs haven t got a good sense of taste.
